Let me start this article off with a confession:
In my 20 years of psychic research, writing and readings…..both personally and professionally alike, I’ve had my share of TERRIBLE psychic readings. And a significant amount of those bad readings have been done by "mediums", or those who purport to talk to the dead.
The Challenge of finding a GENUINE psychic medium is this:
Mediumship is one of the most elusive, and often hard to define psychic qualities. Often, a genuine medium can give an AMAZING, eye opening "WOW" sort of reading to one person….and the very next, get no real rapport at all.
Why?
There are lots of different theories…..but the one that I’ve witnessed the most, is pretty straightforward. The medium is NOT in control of the information that comes through. The spirit, or soul…..or energy of those on the "other side" often have far more to do with the quality and CLARITY of the information, than the person interpreting it does. (in this case….the medium)
As a matter of fact, some studies seem to suggest that the more recently a person has passed, the less POWERFUL their energy may be to come through….or even things that SOUND silly, like your level of skepticism, or open mindedness to the notion of connecting with spirit, can have a powerful effect on the nature of the reading as well. (even OTHER messages seem to indicate that how "evolved" a person was spiritually while "here", plays a big role in how evolved they are "there" as well..:-)
Remember….the medium is NOT the message. They are, simply the conduit, or the "vessel" by which your loved one is able to connect with you, to share important messages from beyond, and to reassure you they are fine, that life DOES continue on after physical death, and that your bond IS in fact eternal.
My invitation to you is this:
If you are serious about learning more about psychic mediumship, and messages from the other side, be patient, be persistent and be PASSIONATE about seeking out genuine mediums who have a track record of astounding success. Don’t be discouraged if you have a reading that doesn’t "click"…….and don’t give up if you don’t get the proof you are looking for on the first try. My life has changed forever on the basis of what I’ve learned from my MANY amazing sessions with real mediums….but if I gave up after the first BAD session, I would have never discovered the truth about MY life….my purpose…and what waits for ALL of us when this one is over..:-)
