Are you psychic? Have you had strange things happen in your life for as long as you can remember….and can’t seem to explain them away? Maybe you’ve had a spiritual experience like an OBE, or have seen an apparition like 25% of the population quietly admits?
Or, even more likely….maybe you occasionally know who is calling BEFORE you pick up the phone? (without your caller ID turned on..:-) Or, think of someone you haven’t thought of for years….and then strangely, get an email, or a Facebook message from that person only hours later?
Maybe you’ve had incredibly detailed lucid dreams where you’ve felt like you were flying…..or seen strange energies and emotions light up like an aura around people you know, or simply have recurring premonitions about things that later turn out to be true.
The fact is, people DO have psychic experiences each and every day, and no matter how many skeptics and cynics are out there to debunk them, it doesn’t make them any less true to those of us who live in a brighter, more colorful and creative world of possibility.
I’m going to share with you some simple tips for literally switching on your psychic abilities in only 7 minutes a day. There are many, many technique to do this of course, and I only have space for a few.
But my hope is, if your open minded, and fun, and looking to add some spiritual “spice” to your life, you’ll try a few of these techniques and watch your OWN world become filled with wonder.
(because when you open this window…..it lets in a bright and beautiful light of magic and mystery that CAN change your paradigm forever)
First, understand THIS to be true….because it is:
I started off as a total skeptic, as many of you may already know. IT wasn’t until I had what is called a “crisis apparition”, or a dream like visitation in the middle of the night from a co-worker, literally across the country, who came to say “goodbye”…..did my world view change forever.
Because when I woke up in the morning and went to work…..I discovered that this young and healthy friend, who lived on the opposite coast and had appeared to me so vividly in my bedroom – had died unexpectedly overnight.
Quite simply, no matter how hard I tried and how many skeptical explanations I tried to use to explain it away….the experience was simply too powerful, and too life changing to ignore.
(and of course a whole bunch of other stuff happened later, including speaking to a medium who described the experience in amazing detail….even though she had no way of knowing any of what she revealed)
Okay – with that out of the way, I want to share with you a few simple 7 minute exercises I’ve been using, and teaching for a few years that WILL open your intuitive eye to a whole new world of experiences as well.
Change the Channel
All of us operate under a normal state of ordinary awareness….each and every day. The default “I” that is me….and the default “everything else” out there. To start to open your psychic abilities, every day, for 7 minutes…..change the channel of conscious awareness that you let in.
Notice What you Notice
Sit down. Breathe deeply. Become aware and mindful of everything happening around you that you DON’T ordinarily pick up. Sounds in the background. Maybe a conversation in another room…..or the sounds of nature, or the buzz of the world around you.
Sensations in your body you may otherwise ignore. Observe uncomfortable feelings like physical pain, or tingling in your hands and feet.
The more you begin to open up to raw sensations….the more energy, and intuitive energy begins to flow to and through your body. (you can actually feel it in the things you TOUCH after doing this exercise….especially living things from people to plants..:-)
Try to Visualize Energy Around Everything You See
In a psychically sensitive state like after mediation, you can literally start to see the emotional energy that is associated with living systems. Aura’s for example. Or again, like I mentioned above…..trees, plants, flowers, animals, even insects….start to buzz with a brightness that wasn’t there before.
Try this for 7 minutes every morning to activate your aura ability -
- Sit down in front of a mirror. Preferably one that you can see your whole body, or from the waist up.
- Sit in a dignified position….whatever dignified feels like, and looks like to you.
- Just breathe…….and stare into your own eyes. Notice your breathe….and focus on your face.
- After a few minutes…..you will start to feel a buzzing, and an outline of color around your head and shoulders.
- This is what some scientists call “subtle energy” and what spiritual practitioners call the energy body or aura.
- We all have one…….it’s just that we aren’t aware it’s there!
Once you master the ability to do this on yourself, the truth is…..you’ll start to immediately start to see the same colors around others as well, and you won’t need to meditate to train first too.
(it just becomes like a latent ability within you that WAKES up, and becomes available…and like all great journeys into self discovery, thats only the tip of the iceberg, too)
