And how can you tell if a reader is worth calling BEFORE you even pick up the phone? In this article I’m going to share a little bit of the insight I’ve gleaned in over 20 years of experience with professional psychics, mediums and clairvoyants, and answer a few of the most common questions MY readers ask as well. Is finding a psychic as easy as picking up the yellow pages…..and dialing ANY random advertised number?
Absolutely not. As a matter of fact, just like any other professional service, there are all kinds of psychic abilities. Not only are there good psychics and bad, there are many different TYPES of readers, and specialities that most folks never consider. There are mediums, and tarot readers, and love or energy empaths and psychometry specialists and clairvoyants and past life readers…and just about everything in between. Not all of them are real, honest, genuine or worth visiting of course, and much the way you wouldn’t go see a lawyer without a referral or recommendation, the same applies to finding a quality psychic as well.
The best way to find psychics that are well recommended and reviewed?
Online, the easiest thing to do is to read the experiences that other people have had before you. I’m really fond of the saying – “good psychics have FANS” because it’s true! More than any other industry, a talented, gifted and accurate reader will leave tracks. People will come back, rave and recommend them to their friends, and write favorably about them around the web. As a blogger and publisher in the psychic marketplace, I actually do that for a living! But other “ordinary” folks do the very same thing…..leaving high marks, and sharing their experiences with readers they love, trust and admire. Finding those recommendations is easy if you look.
Of course, the OTHER side of that coin is NOT being able to find good write ups, rating and reviews for a particular psychic or service. When this happens, I always ask why? Unless they are only a month or two old, every professional psychic should have ratings posted somewhere, and I encourage you to find them BEFORE you spend a dime on a reading.
There are good OFFLINE sources as well.
For example? I’m a big fan of using meet-ups, and local new age or spiritual organizations to help me find new readers to test. Every week I go to a meeting in my local south Florida community, where many new readers are promoting themselves, and their readings to the general public. This is not only a great way to make friends in the business, it’s also a great way to get inexpensive readings as well!
When you need a reading quickly, my best advice?
Set a small budget, find a well rated, LARGE and well respected service, and give it a test run. You can literally find world class psychics and mediums for 20 or 30 dollars if you know where to call, and often, those reading are guaranteed to be great, or you aren’t required to pay a thing. (a pretty hard deal to refuse!) Don’t over think it…..just do a little bit of due diligence, find a service that looks like the real deal, and give it a 20 minute test. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn, and how much fun it is to boot!
