First of all, an open mind is critical. I know that sounds obvious, and if you are someone who is willing to speak to a psychic in the first place, you probably DO have an open mind to begin with, right? The truth is, while many people believe they are open to the notion that our loved ones can communicate through a psychic medium or gifted spiritual reader, when it actually happens, it’s a hard thing to wrap your brain around!
As a matter of fact, when I had my first medium reading almost 20 years ago, I thought I was open minded….and yet, as this incredible information was coming through from a complete stranger (the medium) I found myself spending MUCH of the reading trying to figure out how she was cheating instead! And the very same is true about exploring the afterlife. I know it may sound weird, but actively engaging with your target audience (loved ones who have crossed over) is a great way of gaining confidence, and initiating the sort of experiences that CAN change your life. I personally spoke to many psychics, many mediums and tried many things after my first “afterlife” encounter to have a second experience, and it wasn’t until about a year later that I managed to get further “proof” that my first experience was real. (and since, I’ve had countless others, as my awareness has improved so much that I can almost communicate with the other side on demand)
And remember that there are literally many unique ways to experience the afterlife now.
