Are psychics on TV more credible than those you’d fine online, or in the "real world"?
Does the fact that a reader gets prime time exposure mean that they are MORE psychic, or more intuitive, or have stronger psychic skills than the "average" working psychic? And how DO some intuitive’s get so famous…..while others seem to toil away in obscurity for a lifetime, NEVER getting the fame, or notoriety or attention they seem to deserve? In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at psychics on TV….and I’ll reveal the #1 reason why I do NOT trust celebrity mediums, clairvoyants and empaths as a general rule. (although there are exceptions) Care to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look below!
Filed Under: My experience with TV psychics
Being a "professional" paranormal has some perks! For one, it allows me to expand and explore my psychic experiences in the name of research, work and developing my understanding of the marketplace. Pretty cool, don’t you think? The truth is, I’ve had far more disappointing experiences with celebrity psychics, than I have impressive ones. As a matter of fact, as I’ve said many times before, my WORST reading cost me over $1000….and my BEST reading was only $18! (and of course, you can figure out which of those was done by a celebrity….versus a psychic network I was lucky enough to find by phone!)
In my view?
Many TV psychics are performers. They are entertainers….and they understand how to impress an audience. I’m not going to name names of course…..but some of the mediums I see on day time TV talk shows for example, I personally think are terrible, and not even genuinely psychic as well. (that includes personal experiences with a few of the bigger names, including several who are household names…AND even one who has a TV show based loosely on her life)
On the OTHER hand……
I’ve also had amazing experiences with several well known mediums, including recently seeing John Edward at a live event in FT. Lauderdale, Florida….which I found to be an amazing experience that was totally re-affirming that mediumship is an AMAZING thing to witness when it’s done right!
The key is, like everything else in life, there are good and bad in every profession, and psychics are no different. The reason I don’t trust celebrity mediums as much as those you’d find online, or by phone? COST. Too many psychics are prohibitively expensive these days…and the better known the reader is, by and large….the more they feel they can charge. This leads to skepticism and greed, both of which are ideas with erode the public confidence that psychic abilities are true. (which they most certainly are!)
The bottom line? If you truly want to get an amazing reading that WILL blow you away, talk to an inexpensive psychic by phone or live chat. (or visit someone local to you instead) I’ve had crazy psychic reading experiences for under $25 that have changed my life, and the very same experiences are available to YOU as well!
