The reason this questions keeps coming up so often is actually pretty simple: Most of the skeptics, or debunkers, want to believe that drugs INDUCE the out of body experience, and make it more like a hazy hallucination, than a real experience.
Do NOTE…..that often the same explanation is giving for near death experiences as well, i.e. – the people are in a hospital setting, and most likely on pain medication, which causes a hallucination or the feeling of being out of the body, or seeing a bright light, or a tunnel, etc.
But if this is true, why do so many OBE’S happen WITHOUT any drug involvement? And what about all of the information that comes through and is TRUE that happens during the period the person is out of body…..whether drugs are involved or not, how does this explain seeing things that really ARE happening, often when the physical self is nowhere close?
Here is an interesting bit from wikipedia you may like on drugs and altered states of conciousness including OBE’s. What do YOU think? Leave us a comment below and let us know!
