Is clairvoyance the same as telepathy? Do all psychics have the same skills? Which ones are more unique than others? Are some psychic “powers” more rare…..more important, or more hard to demonstrate than others? If so…..WHY, and which ones?

Discerning the difference between various psychic skills is NOT easy for those of us who don’t actually have the gifts ourselves.. (for example…MOST psychics are not also mediums, even though many try)

The key difference between the two is that with clairvoyance, the information gained from the clairvoyant is directly from an external source whereas with telepathy it is transferred from the mind of one individual to another, often in the case of a reading, from the receiver to the psychic.

Clairvoyance means ‘seeing’ and is one facet of Clairsensing, the other is Clairaudience which means hearing. One individual may have the talent of clairvoyance but not clairaudience. In the realms of Clairsensing there are other abilities. Clairsentience is the ability of feeling and touching, Clairalience is the ability of smelling, Claircognizance is the ability of knowing and Clairgustance is the ability to taste. Clairvoyance is by far the most commonly used ability in pyshic readings than the lesser known clairsensings although some Psychics may use a mixture of a few if they have the ability.
