To pretend that there are NOT psychic scams out there….is to avoid reality, and what we know to be true. Even those of us who are ARDENT psychic junkies and devotees…….recognize the reality that MANY psychics are not so special at all, and more often than not, are well intentioned but NOT so talented people who are simply fooling themselves, (and occassionally their friends and family..

that they have authentic intuitive gifts.
There are, however…..lots of signs a psychic is cold reading, or asking questions that have easy, open ended and interpreted answers…and in these cases, we recommend you RUN the other way. (or hang up the phone if you’ve called a service)
Of course the BEST way to tell if a psychic is a scam is to either read about the experiences of OTHERS before you call, or to simply trust your gut while the reading is in full swing. Check out the short article below on some other easy ways to spot a psychic scam…..BEFORE it drains your bank account, or energy and enthusiasm for enlightening information. (which is FAR more valuable than cold hard cash to me..
But occasionally…if you aren’t careful, you’ll get “suckered” by a review scam And typically it will happen in a psychic forum, where a series of “customers” or “clients” will leave a series of particularly flattering messages about one particular reader or intuitive. Often, these messages are often being left by the intuitive him or herself…in a sneaky and sly way of promoting their own psychic services. Not nice, right? We agree…and some of these style “psychics” are amongst the worst type of people out there lurking and preying on people in cyberspace. Which is another reason we ONLY recommend you call or visit a network if you get a reading online. They’re reputable, they’re usually honest and they offer you all sort of protection you CAN’T get from calling some random anonymous reader you simply don’t know if you can (or should!) trust! |
