In this blog post we are going to take a quick look at psychic mediums. There is really NO area in the paranormal “niche” that gets more support….AND scoffing, simultaneously…than mediumship! Why? Because many of us who have had the experience ourselves, of connecting with those who have “crossed”, can attest that it is one of the most profound and life changing experiences one can have.

But…..at the same time, it sounds so “nuts” to believe that are loved ones are somewhere ELSE, other than here..:-)

I know what I believe, simply due to the volume of research and personal experience I’ve had. I also know that many others do NOT believe, simply because they either haven’t had the experiences….or if they have, they’re so mind boggled that they simply can’t wrap their brains around the fact that it was genuine. (i.e. – someone cheated, etc)

Anyway…..we wrote this article earlier for an article directory and thought it may be worth re-printing here if you’re also interested in mediumship. (i’m guessing many of you are!) Article is below…and let us know what you think, too!

Have you ever considered trying to contact a deceased loved one? One of the worst experiences a person can have is losing someone that they love…..and the simple truth is, as bad as it hurts to admit, LOSS is a pretty big part of life. But what if you could contact those that you love on the “other side?” Do you believe it’s possible? I certainly do….and for hundreds of years, many thousands of people have done just that, through all sorts of ‘paranormal’ means.

For example…..

Mediums who contact the dead have been around since recorded human history has been around! Every culture has them….and while they may be referred to by different names in each, what they purport to do….is the same. Are there fakes, frauds and imposters amongst the bunch? Absolutely, there are! But of the thousands of mediums who have brought back hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of messages that have given GREAT comfort to all sorts of people since the dawn of time….are there any amongst them who were real? You would be foolish NOT to believe if you looked at the overwhelming evidence….and the impossibility of some of the information they’ve brought “back”..:-)

Here is the thing……

I’ve had tons of readings in my life….some SO incredibly powerful and eye opening, that they’ve literally changed what I believed was possible. (I used to be a hard core skeptic) But you ‘ve got to be careful when you pick a medium to visit, because while there are lots of good ones out there, the simple truth is that there are far more that are fakes, frauds or even well meaning folks who simply DON’T have the sorts of skills they believe themselves to have.

Here is the key to getting a good reading, and make GENUINE contact with someone you want to ‘see’ on the other side……

Be open minded! Skepticism is great, but not to the point where it shuts you off from having an experience that changes you perspective on what’s possible.
Be level headed, too! Don’t let your overwhelming urge to make contact compromise what you feel in your gut. If a medium doesn’t ‘sound’ authentic, or you don’t believe the information coming through is real…..let it go and move on. I’ve had plenty of authentic experiences, but they’re intermingled with many ‘misses’ too!
Set the stage! (spiritually speaking) Talk to the person you want to contact before you call….or visit the medium. This is a great way to ‘ask’ for verification that you
can actually validate during the reading. Just take a moment….and say – “I’m calling this psychic….or visiting a medium today..and if you don’t already know, I’d love for you to be there when I do..;-)

Sounds hokey….I know, but some of the BEST verification and validation I’ve received personally that this stuff is real, has come through asking for “proof” right before a reading has begun! (and believe it or not……often, ask and you SHALL receive..:-)

The Bottom line is this…..

Many people reading this right now believe ALL of the above is silly…and that you CAN’T make contact with someone once they’re gone. (because they believe….there is nothing TO make contact with after death)

I say they are wrong.

Not simply because I want it to be true…but simply because I’ve had an avalanche of personal experience which has forced me to face the fact that we DO survive death, and that are TRUE essence is NOT the physical body, and that you can prove that to yourself simply by exploring this for yourself! (and a great place to start is talking to a medium!)
