Have you lived a past life? Were you famous……controversial, mega successful, or simply an ordinary citizen just like today? If you are anything like me, part of the fascination of learning about past lives is actually trying to process what that means for your CURRENT life, right?
I mean…..if you’ve lived before, and are living now, there HAS to be an over-arching plan that sort of ties the whole tapestry together, don’t you think?
Here is what I’ve learned about past life psychic readings….and their meaning to our CURRENT incarnation as well!
Many of our current problems actually originated in a past life. Relationships, rifts, trials, troubles and trepidations ALL began somewhere in a fixed moment long, long ago. Don’t believe me? Check out some of the amazing work done by Harvard MD Dr. Brian Weiss, for example….the CHIEF of Psychiatry at a prestigious Miami, Florida hospital and the author of countless books on using regression therapy, and past life “intervention” on his deeply troubled psychiatric patients. (with AMAZING success) Or the late Dr. Ian Stevenson…..CHAIRMAN of the University of Virginia’s department of Psychiatry, who also wrote the seminal book on children and past lives….”20 Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation”. Or….Dr. Carol Bowman, the Pennsylvania therapist whose work with children who remember richly detailed past lives has recently been featured on leading television and news shows in 2009.
And of course…there are countless more cases, and examples, of super smart, studious and SCIENTIFIC studies of past lives and their implication for our current incarnations.
The truth? Most of us WON’T get a high powered therapist to do a past life regression. (although I have..:-) But what we CAN do, is see a psychic who SPECIALIZES in past life readings….simply because they are often able to instantly “see” who and where you were, before you are the “you” right here! Remember….the real you is timeless, and is NOT your physical body.
In my 2 decades of psychic readings and research, I truly believe the REAL you is a completely spiritual being….here to learn, grow and develop into your FULL potential. (and that potential often STARTS with the realization that what you see in the mirror….is only a very small PIECE of the puzzle, and that your journey is only just beginning to get good..:-)

Psychics and Statistics
Want to know the truth? Even the very BEST psychics are NOT going to have a hit rate of 100%. It’s actually, statistically impossible for a reader to get everything right. Want to know why? Because like many famous mediums have described in detail, a reading is often filtered through the prism of personality and perspective…and if often MORE about symbols than interpretation than very clear statements of fact.
For example…the famous TV medium John Edwards once described what he does as akin to having a conversation through a very thick, frosted window. You “see” the person on the other side….you “hear” some of what they are trying to say, but yet….it can appear (at times) very muffled, fuzzy and hard to decipher. Other mediums have made very similar analogies…with some saying it’s akin to speaking to someone at the bottom of a pool.
You get the broad strokes (no pun intended..:-) but it’s not necessarily super easy to filter exactly what the message is without some degree of interpretation.
So does that mean that they are NOT actually tapping into a source of energy, intuition or understanding that can TRANSFORM your life in major league ways?
Of course it doesn’t. The truth is, regardless of a psychics ability to discern the message.….JUST the fact that they are able to have the conversation, or “tap” into the energy itself (be it a spiritual energy….or simply your OWN intuition) is an amazing gift in of itself. The problem is….the skeptics try to focus exclusively on the mistakes, or the “misses” and try to discount the entirely of the reading (or the psychic’s entire history) based on bad information, partial hits or even messages that are wrong outright.
The key takeaway is this……
In my view – that’s just silly, and shows a complete lack of understanding of psychic abilities in the first place. No one (who is real, anyway) will EVER tell you that a psychic is 100% right. It’s the overall rate of success, and benefit, that a reader brings to the lives of their clients, friends and readings overall….by which they should be judged!

Out of Body and Near Death Experiences
The truth? The most compelling evidence to support out of body experiences being “real”, come from people who are either close to physical death, or those who have literally BEEN clinically dead for a short period of time. (no vital signs or electrical activity in the brain) Many of these people have described very detailed, very lucid experiences of incredible insight and clarity, at a time that conventional scientific wisdom would say it’s IMPOSSIBLE for them to have experienced what they describe.
Descriptions of accident scenes from WAY up above the body, to hospital rooms and emergency medical procedures, to seeing deceased relatives, to even visiting (and describing) people, places and things that are happening MANY miles away.
These are ALL the hallmark of a very rich experience in the astral realms that the person experiencing it….TRULY believes to be true! (and is hard to explain away as a simple hallucination)
Intentional or Induced Out of Body Experiences
Quite simply, this is the area most of YOU are most interested in, right? Practicing, with intention. Learning to leave the body at will. Meditative methods that cause the spiritual self to literally…..WHOOSH out of the physical “shell” and explore the ethereal realms at will. Does everybody do it?
Absolutely not. Can EVERYBODY do it with practice? I believe so….and with a little bit of work, effort, discipline and some tools (binural beats and brain entrainment music work wonderfully well) I DO believe that everyone can have an OBE, and learn first hand that you are FAR more than just your body! (and you won’t believe it for yourself until you actually HAVE the experience…no words can truly do it justice until you do!)

There are two – spontaneous, and induced. (or intentional) The differences between them? A spontaneous projection is usually as a consequence of some sort of trauma, or injury or even as a result of clinical death. (as illustrated by the near death experience) Spontaneous projections are often considered more evidential by scientists….as they aren’t planned, practiced or desired, they just happen on their own. (and often have a very strong veridical quality as above, where information that would be IMPOSSIBLE to know is gleaned while outside of the physical “shell”)
Induced astral projection is MUCH closer to what most of us are trying to experience for ourselves. (as no one really WANTS to have a near death experience, unless we are SURE we are going to be coming back..:-) It is the reasoned, rational and INTENTIONAL exercise of trying to exit the physical body through exertion, effort or otherwise.

The best way to train yourself to have an OBE, or astral projection, is through a combination of mediation, and music or sound. Why? Because meditation is TRULY the gateway to the divine, and while I’ve tried just about EVERY approach above, mediation is not only the easiest and fastest, it also is the most LIFE changing and transformational as well.
Combining traditional meditative practice, with blissful sound technology, is an amazingly easy and beautiful way of growing spiritually…..while exploring the ethereal realms. (often with effortless ease)
And I can also tell you that my own journey as a spiritual being has been reinforced and rewarded by my many out of body experiences, as NOTHING will convince you BETTER that you are a being far BIGGER than your body, than experiencing it firsthand for yourself…:-)

What is a Psychic Medium Anyway?Honestly? It’s a special sort of psychic, who purports to be able to communicate with the “other” side. Mediums often do NOT have typical psychic abilities either, as in…they are LESS likely to predict your immediate future, comment on your career, or other more stereotypical psychic stuff.(although they certainly CAN, it simply depends on whether or not the messages they are gleaning from your loved ones are sharing those facts!) Did you know that many mediums have been studied successfully by science, and have impressed even some of the most hard boiled skeptics and de bunkers the world across?
It’s true…and psychic mediums like John Edward, George Anderson and others have been studied by the University of Arizona, in the VERITAS program (which is Latin for truth) in bringing together believers and non believers alike within the framework of scientific inquiry into psychic powers. (and whether the afterlife can be proven) The results of these studies were SO shocking…they were actually made into a television documentary by HBO, called the “afterlife experiments”.
And while some skeptics who simply REFUSE to believe found fault with the studies….NEW ones are now underway, using TELEPHONE psychics and mediums, at the prestigious Wind bridge Institute in California, where contact with the “dead” is a pretty regular occurrence..:-) (and monitored closely by scientists and skeptics alike)
Did you know…for example, that there is CURRENTLY a huge international study of Near Death Experiences, called AWARE, being done in hospitals around the world, where people who report near death experiences in emergency rooms are being asked to describe EXACTLY what they’ve seen while out of their bodies? The Bottom Line?
I started out as a skeptic…and have had numerous readings and sessions with psychic mediums that have completely changed my paradigm of possibility.
I now DO believe that you CAN contact deceased loved one and relatives (actually….there really ARE no dead, at all..:-) you can expand and explore your consciousness and awareness in THIS life, and you can change your life for the better, simply by beginning the adventure for yourself!
