How Does Remote Viewing Work? A Good Primer On Learning Remote Viewing Skills Here

January 18, 2009

How exactly does remote viewing work?  This is a pretty popular question we’ve been getting via email…..and the truth is, I don’t really know!  Of course there are lots of different theories, and people who are “sure” they have all of the answers…..but I’m smart enough to know I’m not one of them!  ( nor am I so sure they are either..;-)

The simple truth is this:  Remote viewing has been exhibited, and proven to be successful in many a lab test.  It’s been studied by REAL scientists who have come away from the experiments with a firm belief that it’s not only possible, but happening……and can be learned, emulated and developed in ordinary people like you and I.

This my friends…..is a fact!  What actually makes it happen – or what is taking place exactly, or even if some of us have the skill more profoundly than other remains to be seen, and debated, by finer minds than mine…:-)  You can check out an interesting primer on the specifics of remote viewing at the link below.

Technical Remote Viewing is a highly structured and standardized technique that allows you to consistently obtain accurate information, on demand, using a rigorously applied set of protocols. It is a trained ability to acquire accurate direct knowledge of things and events – targets – distant in time or space, while conscious awareness remains totally “blind” to details about the target itself. It is a data collection skill.

Like any other skill, practice is required to become proficient. The TRV techniques result in an accurate transfer of information from the viewer’s unconscious mind into conscious awareness, before the aware, creative, and analytical part of the mind has time to distort, contaminate, or otherwise interfere with the data flow. The target information is then converted into words or sketches, using only a pen and plain white paper.

During this process, the viewer becomes linked directly to the collective unconscious – also referred to as the Matrix. The process works whether the target is in the next room or on the other side of the world. This information can exist anywhere in time or at any point in the Universe, as mind exists outside of time and space.

Learn Remote Viewing: Can Anyone Learn How to Develop Remote Viewing Skills?

January 5, 2009

We’ve always found remote viewing to be such an incredible and fascinating topic.  I mean, once you sort of establish that it’s possible, it sort of changes the paradigm of what IS in fact possible, right?  Of course it does…and how else can you explain how one mind can hone in and describe in intricate detail what is happening, or what is being “seen” by another person hundreds, or thousands of miles away?

Are some remote viewing claims, ( and classes) a bunch of BS?  Absolutely.  But are some proven true beyond any reasonable doubt?  Yes, they are!  If you look close, and get past the outlandish and fringe personalities, you’ll discover, much like the out of body experience, remote viewing is a latent skill we ALL seem to have, and just needs to be explored to be activated.  Below is an interesting little snippet from About.com about remote viewing, and what it may ( or may not!) be all about.  Enjoy!

Who Can Learn Remote Viewing?Virtually anyone can learn remote viewing. You don’t need to be “psychic” to successfully remote view, but it does require training and diligent practice.

Some research has shown that left-handed people are more likely to become successful at it. But learning remote viewing has been likened to learning to play a musical instrument. You’re not going to be able to read a book (or website) about it and then be able to do it.

You must learn the techniques and then practice. As with a musical instrument, the more you train and practice with it, the better you’ll be able to perform. It takes time, motivation and dedication.According to Paul H. Smith in his article “Can Remote Viewing Be Trained,” remote viewing “training has been nearly always successful to a greater or lesser degree depending on the level of motivation, preparation and innate ability of a given student viewer.”

Remote viewer Joe McMoneagle has compared it to training for the martial arts. How You Can Learn Remote ViewingIf you’re curious about the potential of remote viewing, there are many resources for learning its methods and techniques. For example, the official Army manual on Coordinate Remote Viewing, written in 1986, is available free online. It provides background, training procedures, how a remote viewing session works and more.

Astral Projection for Beginners: How to Have Your First Out of Body Experience

January 3, 2009

165101_m.jpg
Here is yet another interesting post from around the web on astral projection for beginners.  The author of this site has shared a whole host of different experiences, and perspectives on astral projection and the ethereal realms…many of which are WELL suited for beginning or novice projectors.

So if you’re still struggling to have your first experience, you may be very well rewarded by checking out some of his simple strategies.  You can access the entire site at the link below!

Ok, so your body is vibrating and you can lift your limbs; now you should start hearing popping, cracking, hissing noises. It can be one or many of these symptoms. I have also heard screams (ugh) and nasty noises, but I now just ignore them. Who knows what kind of parasites hang around our astral body, but I can tell you, they are harmless. So now that you’ve gotten this far, get out! I do this several ways. 1. Rollout (this is also the technique Robert Monroe used). I rollout by simply acting like I’m falling out of bed, as in rolling out of my body, onto the floor.

2. Arch my back and buck myself out. Sometimes if my head gets stuck I just "throw" myself out. This takes sheer will power.

3. Grab something solid and pull! It doesn’t matter how far away the solid object is, I think you’re basically using the solid object as a mental crutch to get out.

4. Rise and move. I surprised myself lately by just doing this passive technique. I "willed" myself to rise above my body and move onto the floor, which I did. I’m sure with time, it gets easier and easier, no matter which technique you use. I remember how I struggled over and over to get out of my body, but now, once the vibrating starts, I always say, "gosh, it’s so easy, what was I fussing over?

Astral Projection Steps

January 2, 2009

In our continuing look at astral projection tips from around the web, here is another website that details one particular persons approach to leaving her body and exploring the astral realms!

One of the most amazing parts of this adventure, is the realization that there truly are so many different paths to get to the same place, that it’s truly astounding.  Find a really good one for YOU….and then pursue it!

We recommend the tools we have listed here on our site, and think you’ll get great mileage out of them for sure – but we still look around at what others are doing, and bring that here for you as well!  Enjoy!

The Steps to Astral ProjectionStep One:

Managing the Physical WorldThis step is not necessary for astral projection but it helps to do the things stated below before a astral projection . Let me stress the fact that you do not have to do any of the things I will explain below and the only thing you will ever need to project is yourself and nothing more. (If you do not have yourself I would suggest a alternate past time.)The first thing to do is make sure that no one will disturb you. Tell them you are taking a nap, trying astral projection, or whatever comes to mind. It does not really matter what you tell them as long as they do not disturb you. I, myself had many experiences when some one would walk in while I was trying to project and it broke my concentration.

Now that you have made sure no one will bother you walk around your room and study it. During this time you should think about all your troubles and problems. Think of a solution to them (even if it is a temporary solution or a solution like aliens landing and they give you back your puppy which died). You do this so you can get all the surface thoughts out of your head. Once you eliminate distractions continue to step two.Remember that you could project with a million people circling around your bed and throwing insults and jeers. You just have to train your mind and then you can do anything.

“It all takes practice, practice, practice!”(the best words anyone ever said to me.)Step Two: Trancework and MeditationYou must have your body one hundred percent asleep while your mind is awake in order to project. And that is why you must slip into a trance. Astral projection is not something you can do right away. It takes time to project considering you are not one of those people who can get out on their first try (Which I only heard about by the way, during my many internet studies).

Religious Out of Body Experiences

January 1, 2009

Here is another interesting out of body experience reported from around the web that has a bit of a near death experience quality to it insofar as the person having the experience was in a hospital suffering from a variety of illnesses when it happened.

With such a wide variety of different style experiences possible….I always find the “heaven/hell” ones interesting to read, although occasionally, I think they MAY be more easily explained as hallucinations.  What do you think?  You can read the whole blog post, describing his experience in greater detail, at the link below.

I had learned to recognize the physical symptoms of the onset of one of the catatonic states, but this was different. I felt certain that I was going to die.And I did.Like a flash, my consciousness, or soul, or spirit, or ka, left my body.

I was flying upward around the curved rim of the universe at an impossible speed faster than thought. I still had a body, but it was ethereal, light as a feather. I could see the small oval shapes of thousands of galaxies on my left as I sped past. A heartbeat later I was there. In front of me was a long luminous table, like a raised dais, and seated there were beings bathed in light, but human in form. They had heads and bodies, but I could not make out their faces. Were they angels? Judges? I don’t know. I think there were ten of them. At least that is the number that is in my head.

Then I began to spin like a top attached to a string, though my consciousness looked straight at them. I am spinning and looking straight ahead. How is that possible? And I began to weep. I must be dead, I thought, and began, without any prompting or question being asked, to recount the sins of my life, and they were many.

Lying, cheating, stealing, gluttony, sex, drugs; all the small and great sins of boy and man. How small or large they were makes no difference. They were as big as my life then, and all I thought I had to show for it. Through my tears, I begged for forgiveness. The being in the middle spoke in a calm, male sounding voice that I heard in my mind. “You are forgiven. It is not your time yet.”
