Here is an interesting group of articles on psychic abilities, life after death and just how commonplace these sensational skills really are in ordinary people like you and I..:-) Can we all manifest psychic skills.….OR are these abilities reserved ONLY for the most talented and "special" seers out in the world?
This is obviously a topic rife with controversy and varying opinion – but check out the link below for more questions (and answers) about some of your most presssing psychic concerns. (not to say we agree with all of the replys of course – but they are interesting to read nonetheless!)
Q: TL Iwafuchi asks:
My mother predicted that she would die before my father, even though she was 59, and not ill. My father was 82 at the time. Mom said she was at peace with everyone and felt like she had accomplished everything in life that she wanted to do. She also told me some things about watching my son at age 13 for tummy troubles, and that my daughter would be very creative. She didn’t say a lot about me, except that my best and most successful years were coming. She was drinking at the time so I didn’t think much about the conversation.
Two days later, she died of deep vein thrombosis. Now I wish I had listened more carefully! Sometimes I think she is hanging around to make sure I don’t hurt myself or get in trouble. I don’t feel like she is a constant presence, but more like she checks in every once in a while. Can “normal” folks be psychic?
How would I know if she is hanging around?
A: Dear TL Iwafuchi, “Every child that comes into the world is sensitive, but rarely is the child encouraged to recognize and enjoy the benefits of their so – called sixth sense.” __quote from Annette Martin’s book “Discovering Your Psychic World.” We are all born with six senses, seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and the sixth sense, sensing or a knowing. We all have the capacity to learn how to develop this skill of sensing or knowing.
